The NeoVictoria Project presents “The Bewitched Carnival”.
Five evenings of non-stop roleplay, celebrating the NeoVictoria Project’s fifth year in Second Life!
This series of roleplay events begins on Monday, 21 September 2015, with a harvest festival that will feature a traveling carnival of the mostly-dead, and a very traditional wickerman. Everyone is invited to roleplay with us!
In NeoVictoria, we do free-form dark roleplay. Free-form means there is no script; scenes evolve out of real-time character interactions. Dark roleplay means characters may act in aggressive, predatory, criminal and/or plain uncomfortable ways. We use a simple dice-based wearable HUD called the Jade Kreations Role Play Tool Suite; avatars must wear this to see the roleplay chat. The item is free and available in our Visitor Center, various locations on our out-of-character skymall, and the SecondLife Marketplace.
Players don’t have to be a member of our group to roleplay here; we do ask newcomers take a tour of the Visitor Center in NeoVictoria SIM to learn about the storyworld before joining in the roleplay. [Observer tags are also available for players who want to visit the land level, but not roleplay.]

The NeoLondoners celebrate the sacrifice of the lovers with a party and then return to NeoLondon. During the party, a stray dog eats the cake, but the party never flags, as the music, dancing and conversation keep their spirits high.

Reunited, the lovers perform the needed calculations to reverse the spell. They break the rune locks, but in the process, Nourie’s spirit is unbound and she begins to fade. Rather than lose her, Augustus stops the spell and in doing so, is killed. Both spirits now, they thank the NeoVictorians and share a final kiss, before his last incantation transforms them into a cloud of butterflies.

Finally, Ginger transforms into her were-form, takes the groom’s scent and they find him, in a hidden ice cave under the city. They explain the situation and he follows them back to the Cathedral and is reunited with his bride.

The scene begins in NeoVictoria as the NeoLondoners make the trip to Aurora. They arrive in Aurora and set up the bride in the Cathedral. She remains there as they fan out to learn about the city and find the groom.

Asil Karu has been studying the rune book; she tells Zen Katria about the situation. They go to visit the Bride and find Leander Hatfield has returned from planet Pinea with the bride’s body. Asil reveals they will need a rift-ship capable of inter-dimensional travel to make the journey to the Fairelands. Zen Katria goes in search of Captain Sleipnerson. Asil and Leander leave with Nourie Hadig; determined to bind her to her bones, so she can survive the trip.

Augustus Whitehill has left, but winter remains. To their surprise, a new visitor appears; the shade of his bride: Nourie Hadig. She tells them of her fate; how her spirit has been pulled from planet-to-planet, always arriving a few days after he has departed. Touched by her plight, the NeoLondoners bring her to the tavern and the room her husband had stayed in. When she discovers he has crossed dimensions, she flies into a rage, breaking objects and damaging Miss Tickta. Leander Hatfield uses his deadening gift to disable her; calmness returns and they promise to help her to him.

Wherein some of the spellcrafters of NeoLondon help Augustus Whitehill to leave the dimension of the Sidhe Empire, using ancient rune craft and the power stored within the hidden Sidhe slithen under Sidhe Park in NeoLondon. They succeed in their task, sending the groom to Aurora in the Fairelands; unaware their spell has been witnessed by one of the cursed djinn.
